hi tumblr….it’s been actual years since i last posted let alone post any art. i don’t know how active my followers are or how active this website still is, but i just want to share art here because it’s always been a space where my art was always accepted and loved even if i couldn’t accept or love it. my ny resolution is to get back into my art and find a style that feels right to me. if any of you have followed me back in the fandom days, you will tell that this is radically different from then. and that’s a good thing! at least to me. i want to make art that i’m happy about. and 2020 is going to be the year that i rediscover that.
anyway, i’m excited to be back. i can’t promise i’ll be as active as i used to, but i’ll try :-)

It’s cuter when you recognize that the lion with visible spots is a juvenile. There’s a very high chance the other lion that runs over to investigate is the MOTHER.
The first lion is asking for comfort because she was given a big spook!!! and she needs mommy to tell her it’s safe and ok!!!! (What’s cuter is that mommy clearly reassures her, and goes on to take the parent role of ‘deal with the scream rat in order to protect my large and easily frightened daughter’)

I’m so fucking upset,, my boss willingly scheduled me to work this typical whitewashed lūau event where there was a literal racist white guy attending being a stupid shit and when I confronted her about she tells me “this is the mainland u gotta get used to it”
